Con sede a Calcutta nel Nord Est dell'India‚ EMA (Equitable Marketing Association) è un'organizzazione che
promuove la produzione artigianale di varie realtà indiane. Fu fondata
nel 1977 da alcuni piccoli gruppi che volevano difendere e valorizzare
il loro lavoro.
I suoi articoli provengono da almeno 30 cooperative fra cui produttori
di spazzole e artigiani della pelle nello stato del Bengala Occidentale‚ intagliatori e scalpellini ad Agra nell'Uttar Pradesh e produttori di
tappeti nella regione del Kashmir. In ognuna delle aree dove
l'organizzazione opera si attuano programmi di sviluppo legati
all'istruzione e alla sanità.
